Kehau Uyeda is grateful to work alongside those with global vision to selflessly serve those in great need.
Kehau began college in BIOLA University in Los Angeles, CA. With a bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Hawaii, she enjoys working with people and managing administrative detail. Kehau thrives in developing positions that are underdeveloped, creating systems that are organized and transferable.
Beyond her years of administrative experience, Kehau thrived while teaching 11 year old grade school children for eight years. Inspiring a love of learning in them was where she put her marketing know-how to good use. Balancing the needs of individual students and working with their parents took great relational finesse. Stepping into curriculum development, she currently works part time at her children's private school. Kehau also plans and manages the middle school students' out-of-town extended field trips to their state's seat of government and to the USA's capitol city of Washington DC.
Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Kehau and her husband Todd, along with their four children currently reside in Orlando, Florida. Born in Phoenix, AZ, her parents Harold and Lana Jones ushered her into their globally-aware family, living abroad in various cultures and countries. This international childhood remains invaluable in understanding today's growing global culture.
Although Kehau and her husband have always worked in the private sector, Kehau was pleased to step into the field of humanitarian aid, working alongside her parents, in an organization close to her family's heart. She consistently aims to bring an accessible Human Resources presence to the GHNI Geneva offices.
